US Based Journalist, Laolu Akande Named Osinbajo’s Spokesperson

United States based veteran journalist, Mr Laolu Akande has been named the Spokesperson of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
His appointment was made public Monday morning from the VP’s office.
Mr. Akande until his appointment, is the North America bureau chief of one of the Nigerian National Dailies, The Guardian Newspaper. He is also the publisher of an online news agency, Empowered Newswire.
Mr. Akande, a pastor of the RCCG Jesus Friends Assembly, New York was also a former editor of Saturday Tribune.
He played a very strong role in facilitating Professor Osinbanjo’s US town hall meeting with Nigerians during the electioneering campaign of the last general elections.
