The newly elected Executive Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state was today inaugurated in Abeokuta with Governor Ibikunle Amosun assuring that the party would work towards uniting all members.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, the governor charged the newly inaugurated the new Executive and entire members to continue to pursue harmony within the party and ensure no member is lost.
Amosun insisted that the loss of any member is unacceptable, calling on stalwarts to endure and reach out to the aggrieved members.
The governor appreciated the national leadership of the party as well as members of the Appeals Committee for standing on the side of truth, justice and fairness, which according to him culminated in the inauguration of the new EXCO.
The new state party Chairman, Alhaji Roqeeb Adeniji appreciated members for electing the new EXCO members and craved for their continued support.
Adeniji noted the APC, being a democratically inclined party, may have gone through some minor challenges but it is now more united and formidable to perform creditably well in any election.
