AFCON: Iwobi Tests Positive For Covid-19

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus
The Everton player was sidelined for the match against Benin Republic at 5pm because of this and he has gone into isolation
Iwobi will also miss next Tuesday’s clash against Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos
Our correspondent reports that Benin’s Rodrigue kossi and Jacques Bessan also tested positive and did not take part in the game
