Chinese Business Mogul, Tony Xia Sets To Buy Aston Villa For £60m

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Chinese businessman Dr Tony Xia has indicated interest to buy relegated Aston Villa for £60m.
The deal which is subject to Football League endorsement, will involve the new Xia taking over 100 per cent ownership of the club.
The latest development followed decision by the American billionaire Randy Lerner, who bought Villa in 2006 for £62.2m, to put the club up for sale in 2014.
In the same vein, Midlands club’s new Manager is likely to be either Nigel Pearson or Roberto di Matteo.
The new Manager is expected to be unveiled until the new deal is concluded.
