By Adebiyi Adeseye – Ivorian and four times African Footballer of the year, Yaya Toure will be conspicuously missing in action tonight (Tuesday), when his Club, Manchester City filed out against the Spanish outfit, Barcelona due to suspension in the final group game of the tournament.
Toure joined the English premier league champion from Barcelona in July 2010 during the summer break.
Both Manchester city Football club and Barcelona met at the round of 16 th last season where the former progressed to the next round winning of 4-1 on aggregate.
The lanky mid fielder have played a pivotal role since his move from the Catalans to the English premier league as well as the club’s current highest paid player.
In the same vein, Edin Dzeko is set to miss out in the English Champions line up despite his best display of the season on Saturday in the win over Newcastle united, while Fernando is set to fill Yaya Toure spot.
However the English Champions have much on their hands this night at home, as they must avoid to be thwarted by the Catalans in the front of their home fans.
