Governor Uduaghan Sworn-in 23 LG Chairmen

Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan on Monday sworn-In 23 local government chairmen elected during the Saturday local government poll in the state.

The Chairman, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) Mr. Moses Ogbe had earlier on Sunday declared PDP chairmanship candidates winner in 23 out 25 local government area in the state.

The DSIEC cancelled the results of Ndokwa East local government area for violence and declared results of Ethiope East LGA ‘inconclusive’.

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan during the inauguration of the council boss charged them to embark on people oriented programmes.

He advised them to complete all the ongoing project in their local government areas.

The governor noted that LGAs must deliver dividends of democracy to grassroots to complement state and federal government efforts.
