Military Confirms Arrest Of Jos, Zaria Bombing Masterminds

By Mustapha Abdul Salaam – The Nigerian Defence Headquarters Wednesday confirmed that troops have arrested the master mind of the Sunday Jos and Zaria bombings at a checkpoint in Gombe.
A post by the Headquarters indicated that the military and Department of State Security (DSS) operatives trailed the suspect until he was apprehended while trying to evade arrest inside a trailer at Dadinkowa check point in the North Eastern State.
The Military affirmed: “The highly placed terrorist was arrested with two others who were in his company. One of them was however shot while trying to escape”.
In the meantime, the arrested suspects, the post revealed have been moved to another location for further interrogation.
