ONDO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Following non-payment of their allowance for the last Saturday Ondo State Governorship election, some policemen Monday morning went to the streets in Ondo town to protest against the development.
While on the protest, the security operatives were seen chanting revolting songs.
The policemen were aggressive and very enraged, as they disallowed and attacked journalists and residents who attempted to snap them or record the video of the protest.
It would be recalled some of the policemen, Sunday while the collation of the election results was still ongoing, started complaining about the delay in payment of their special assignment allowances.
