Pauline Tallen Says PDP Is a Corrupt Party, Hails Buhari’s Anti-Corruption Policy

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) | FROM AGABUS PWANAGBA JOS – A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC and former Plateau Satae Deputy Governor, Dame Pauline Tallen has described allegations by the opposition PDP that the economic policies of President Muhammad Buhari have driven the country backwards, as a political blackmail.

Tallen stated this in an exclusive chat with AFRICAN EXAMINER correspondent in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

She said, “PDP can never see anything good in all Buhari’s efforts, because these are two different sides of the coin.

“Buhari is a progressive, a true patriotic Nigerian who means well for the country, and who is out to clean up the mess, to fight corruption and bring it to the barest minimum.

The former Deputy Governor maintained “They are opposites, and you don’t expect a corrupt party which is fighting somebody who is sanitizing the system to see anything good in him.

“What the PDP is doing is nothing but distraction and I appeal to the President and well meaning Nigerians to shun the party in order to reform this country and remain focused.

“Buhari is not a magician; he is already showing us the right way by setting a good example for us to key into and follow our leader as good agent s of change.

On PDP plan to reclaim power in the country, the former Minister of Science and Technology said, “Never! The PDP is a joker. Its members like making noise.

Tallen said the emergence of President Buhari, was a divine arrangement by God and Nigerians who fought for the needed change.

“I for see a brighter and focused country with him at the helms of affairs. I therefore call on Nigerians to support and pray for him instead of making baseless criticisms”. She advised.
