Asisat Oshoala Signs New Deal With Liverpool

By Adesye Adebiyi – Lagos – The newly crowned African women’s player of the year, Asisat Oshoala has signed a fresh contract deal with the Liverpool Female club side.
The came atop Friday of some top American and European clubs to sign the Canada World under 20 Female Golden Boot and the Golden Ball winners.
The Liverpool ladies Manager, Matt Beard said on the club’s website that he was absolutely delighted that Oshoala eventually joined the reigning Champion, despite the stiff competition with some top clubs across the world.
With the present deal, the ex – River Angel player now emerged the first African female football star, to play in the Women Super League.
