Agabus Pwanagba, Jos – The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) has advised the President Elect General Muhammadu Buhari to implement the recommendations of the recently concluded National Conference.
The President of COCIN, Rev. Dachollom Datiri gave the advice on Friday in Jos at the closing ceremony of the Church’s 88th General Church Council.
Datiri also urged government at all levels to endeavour to pay workers salaries before the handover date.
While congratulating the President-elect and others who won various positions in the recently held general election, he tasked them to deliver on their campaign promises.
The COCIN President further condemned the incessant killings of innocent villagers and Christians in Plateau state, most recently in Barkin Ladi, Jos East, Riyom LGAs.
He also called on the Federal government to investigate the alleged military killings and destruction of properties in kadarko, Wase Local Government of State and that of Kurmi in Taraba State.
