Chibok Girls: FG Meets Boko Haram Representatives In Saudi Arabia

In the bid to ensure the release of over 200 chibok girls abducted by  Boko Haram Insurgency group in April, 2014 , the federal government delegation led by Principal Secretary to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ambassador Hassan Tukur is currently meeting with Boko Haram representatives in Saudi Arabia.

Amb. Tukur confirmed this to Voice of America on Friday Morning, adding that the meeting will facilitate the release of 219 school girls abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State and negotiate ceasefire with the terrorist group.

African examiner gathered that Chad President Idriss Deby and powerful delegation from Cameroon are part of the meeting.

Danladi Ahmadu led the insurgency group delegation to the meeting.

He said the group would reach deal with federal government if they are sincere during the negotiation.
