Ogun APC Chairman Loses Wife In Auto Crash

Tragedy has struck in the household of the Ogun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Roqeeb Adeniji, as he lost his wife, Tuesday in an accident, along Lagos – Abeokuta expressway.

Adeniji’s wife, namely Rachael, and aged 58, died when the vehicle she was travelling to Abeokuta lost control and somersaulted in Akinhale area, under Ewekoro Local Government area of the state. AFRICAN EXAMINER Correspondent gathered that late Mrs Adeniji was on a return journey from Ewekoro to Abeokuta, the state capital, after an official function by the state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Her son, Bolaji confirmed the crash and passing on of his mother, saying it was God’s wish.

Meanwhile, the corpse has since been deposited at the state’s General Hospital’s morgue, Oke Ijeun, Abeokuta.
