Saraki Endorses Governor Ahmed For Second Term

The Kwara APC State Leader, Senator Bukola Saraki has endorsed Kwara State Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed for second term in office.

Senator Saraki made this disclosure while fielding questions from Newsmen after Kwara APC Stakeholders meeting held in Ilorin on Saturday.

He said Governor Ahmed’s performance during his first term in office has bring significant development to the state.

According to former governor of the state, “In my own view, I believe that he has performed. He has provided leadership. He has built up from where we left. He has been able to bring significant development despite the paucity of funds in the state.

“He has shown responsibility and we believe that leaving him in that direction for another four years for him will be good for the state.”

African examiner correspondent learnt that the party’s stakeholders also endorsed the governor for second term ahead of November APC governorship primary election for 2015 general elections.

It would be recalled that many groups have endorsed the governor for second term in office.

They said the governor deserved to be given the opportunity to continue his share prosperity agenda.
