9nice, Tony Tetuila Defeated In APC Legislative Primaries

Young Hip Hop star, Abolore Akande aka 9nice’s first attempted political aspiration has suffered a setback, as the popular Yoruba wrapper Tuesday lost in his bid to clinch the opposition All progressives Congress (APC) Ogbomosho North/Ogbomosho South/Orire Federal Constituency of Oyo state ticket.

The Gongo-Aso initiator lost in the primary despite his massive electioneering campaign as well as hope in a clear win as he was believed to enjoy the backing of the APC State power brokers.

Akande was not the only the hip hop star presently counting their losses, as another counterpart, Tony Tetuila failed in his aspiration to clinch APC endorsement to represent the Irepodun Constituency of Kwara State.

It was a similar unpleasant fate that befell another music icon, Kenny Saint Best. She was defeated by another fellow greenhorn and son of the opposition APC National National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Folarin, to win the Lagos State Onigbonbgo, Ikeja Constituency 01.

It would be recalled, Nollywood Star, Desmond Elliot, yesterday was declared the winner of the primary of Surulere 01 Constituency of Lagos State, as he defeated the incumbent , Hon Kabir Lawal.
