Omisore’s Campaign Train Hits Ife On Wednesday

The Peoples Democratic Party Governorship flagbearer for forthcoming governorship election in Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore will on Wednesday tour the four local government areas in Ile-Ife.

African examiner gathered that Omisore will formally receive royal blessing from Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade before going to all the wards in Ife zone.

The Ife born politician hold a traditional title ‘Apesin of the source’ in Ile-Ife which literally means ‘people will gather to serve you’.

The PDP governorship candidate alongside with his deputy, Adejare Bello and other party leaders will visit Ife central, East, North and South to take rescue mission message to his people who have not produce Osun state governor since creation over 20years ago.

African examiner review of local government voters analysis released by INEC on Tuesday in Osogbo revealed that over 250,000voters are in Ife zone representing about 25percent of voters in all 30 local government area of Osun state.

Speaking with our correspondent in a phone chat, an Ife resident, kayode Ijitunbi said people of Ile-ile will troop out today to endorse their true son, Omisore.

Ijitunbi described Omisore as a kind hearted and humble man who represented people of Osun East Senatorial District effectively in Senate from 2003-2011.
