Shooting Stars Assistant Coach Olowokere Slumps, Dies In Training

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The assistant coach of Shooting Stars, Akin Olowokere, slumped and died on Monday morning.

Olowokere is one of the coaches who was recently recruited by 3SC.

According to available information, the former Sunshine Stars player and coach fell down during training, and medical personnel immediately came to his aid, and he was taken to an undisclosed hospital.

The incident occurred at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode as the team prepared for training for Matchday 2 of the ValueJet Cup 2025.

Olowokere was recruited by the Oluyole Warriors after the club ended their relationship with the Gbenga Ogunbote-led coaching crew.
