South-East Governors Forum Condemns “Senseless” Killing Of Kano Worshippers

The South-East Governors’ Forum (SEGF) has condemned in its entirety the recent killing of scores of innocent citizens in Kano by suspected members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
It condoled with families of victims of the attack as well as people and government of Kano state.
Chairman, of the forum, and Governor of Abia State, Theodore Ahamefula Orji in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Ajunwa on Saturday, described the act as barbaric and incomprehensible.
The forum stated that killing of innocent citizens is a condemnable genocide, which cannot be tolerated in any sane society.
It expressed worry over activities of those behind the bombing, “whose mission and agenda have no trace of sanity.
