Buhari Approves Retirement Request Of Customs Boss

By Ayo Balogun – President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the resignation of the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Dikko Abdullahi.
In view of this development, Alhaji Abdullahi is expected to proceed on his voluntary retirement effective from Tuesday, August 18 2015.
It would be recalled the former Comproller-General had earlier indicated his interest via a letter dated August 3 to the President, on voluntary retirement, to commence Tuesday.
President Buhari has since in a letter signed by him and dated August 14, 2015 approved Abullahi’s notification and request accordingly.
