I Have Never Experienced True Love –Tiwa Savage

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, says that she has never experienced true love at the age of 44.

Tiwa stated that aside from her son, Jamil, she hasn’t experienced true love from anybody.

According to her, when she looks back at her past romantic relationships, she discovers that they were infatuation and not true love.

“I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son. Because every time I look back at all my relationships, I’m like, nah, that wasn’t love. I was just infatuated. At that time, I thought I was in love. I don’t think I experienced true love even when I was married,” she said in an interview with Zeze Mills.

Savage stated that she has now concluded that maybe love isn’t for her since she has tried countless times to find true love but to no avail.

“Maybe love isn’t for me because I have tried over and over again, so maybe love isn’t for me this lifetime,” she added.

It could be recalled that Tiwa Savage and her former manager, Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz, got married in 2013 but got divorced in 2018 after attempts to settle their differences proved futile.
