Unpaid Salaries: Ondo Public Servants Begin Indefinite Strike Wednesday

AKURE, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Public servants under the auspices of organized Labour are to embark on an indefinite strike Wednesday, to protest against non-payment of five months’ salaries.
As at Tuesday afternoon, leadership of Labour Unions held an emergency meeting to perfect the plan for the imminent total strike.
An indication that the industrial action will be a total showdown also emerged Tuesday afternoon, as the organized labour Leaders directed the State Hospital staff to stay away from their duty post, starting from tomorrow (Wednesday).
