Woman Commits Suicide In Enugu After Testing HIV Positive

A 46 year old woman identified as Celestina Mamah from Udenu local Government Area of Enugu state has committed suicide by stabbing herself to death in a forest after allegedly testing positive to human Immune Virus (HIV) in the hospital.
That victim according to the police, “had left her home on 28/5/16 at about 6pm and headed to a forest near Ogwu rest house in Udenu local Government Area of Enugu state where she allegedly stabbed herself to death.
The state police public Relations officer, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu, who made this known to AFRICAN EXAMINER on Monday in Enugu said her dead body was found at about 11am on Sunday.
He said full scale investigations on the incident has commenced adding that the dead body of the deceased has been deposited at an undisclosed nearby hospital.
