Enugu Orders Ex-Appointees To Return Their Official, Diplomatic Passports

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Enugu state government has ordered all its former Executive Appointees whose appointments have either been terminated or expired to as a matter of urgency return their official and Diplomatic Passports.
The retrieved announcement was contained in a statement issued weekend in Enugu by Secretary to the Enugu state government (SSG), professor Chidiebere Onyia
“This is important information to all concerned that, pursuant to a directive from the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters, Abuja, all Official and Diplomatic Passports earlier issued to State Executive appointees whose appointments have either been terminated or have expired are to be retrieved.
“Accordingly, all affected persons are requested to submit the said passport(s) to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Government House, Enugu, on or before Friday, 5th September, 2025, for onward transmission to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Enugu Command.
“This exercise is a matter of national protocol and strict compliance with immigration regulations, and it must be treated with utmost urgency”
